Community Involvement

Community Involvement is an important company objective.  DPInc and it's employees support a wide variety of organizations to improve the communities where we live and work.  Through both financial contributions and volunteering our time and energy, DPInc makes it a priority to contribute to a wide range of charitable causes and events.  Some highlights of the programs and organizations we support are:

FareStart is a real solution to some of our society's most pressing challenges - homelessness, joblessness, poverty and hunger. Our model works because we are both an effective social service provider, and a thriving social enterprise. We help people transform their lives, create value for our community, and offer a way for everyone to play a role doing something that matters.

More than 280 paramedics who serve Seattle and King County are on the front lines of emergency medical care and treatment every day. Each year they respond to nearly 50,000 calls for life-threatening incidents and the quality of care that they are able to provide in the first six minutes can mean the difference between life and death.  By providing the funding and resources for training paramedics, the Medic One Foundation ensures that our region has advanced life support personnel with the most extensive training to offer the general public the best chances for survival.

Special Olympics helps individuals with intellectual disabilities overcome barriers through sports. Every day we empower our athletes to shatter stereotypes and exceed their personal bests on the playing field and in life.

Make a Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Wishes are more than just a nice thing. And they are far more than gifts, or singular events in time. Wishes impact everyone involved - wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities.
